About

Welcome to The Little Bear Cabin, an A-frame in Palisades, your mountain sanctuary. A 10 minute walk to the lake and 3 minute drive to the lake foe easy access to all Lake Arrowhead has to offer. 3 beds, 2 baths, and a wrap-around deck invite family gatherings and serene moments. At night, gather 'round the fire pit beneath starlit skies for marshmallow tales. Kids adore the Three Little Bears room filled with toys for hours of playtime!

Good to know

Upon entering through the front door, you'll be met with bright natural light throughout the space thanks to the huge floor to ceiling a-frame widows. Cook a perfect meal in our newly remodeled spacious kitchen outfitted with brand new appliances, designer knives, plates, cookware and even cookie cutters for a great time with the kids. We also have a Ninja blender, Keurig, bean grinder and regular drip coffee makers. The living room is outfitted with a 55" smart FrameTV, and designer furnishings and a real wood burning fireplace. Downstairs you'll find a remodeled bathroom with shower and tub. The master bedroom outfitted with a king size bed with a tempurpedic style mattress, and cozy designer sheets. Upstairs you'll find a remodeled bathroom with shower and tub and two bedrooms. The first has three twin beds for the kids, as well as toys, books, games for them to enjoy. The other has a queen bed with a tempurpedic style mattress, designer sheets, and its own private balcony that looks towards the lake. Outside, enjoy a meal on the deck, a glass of wine, or an espresso. We also have a propane fire pit on the patio. We also have incredibly fast wifi, a brand new washer and dryer, high chair, pack'n'play, baby gate, and toddler cups, plates, and silverware for your use. Book our home today!

* Keep pet on leash at all times, the backyard is not fully enclosed. Non picked up dog poop is a $50 fee *$50 pet fee - 1 pet only *the furnace is sensitive, so please only adjust 4 degrees at a time. *Bears and critters do roam at night, so keep all trash in the trash bins.

Please be aware of noise levels and be courteous to surrounding neighbors, quiet time from 10 pm-7 am. All outdoor lights need to be turned off by 10:30pm Do not park on the street or private property, blocking the plow will result in a ticket. No parties/events. One baby gate is provided, please be aware this home has stairs. Dishes must be cleaned and loaded into the dishwasher prior to checkout. One pet only. Must pick up pet potty.

Wow! If you are looking for a serene setting close to the beach clubs in Arrowhead and a short drive to Lake Gregory, this is the spot. The place is the perfect mix of modern with that cabin feel and truly thoughtfully designed. It’s well-stocked and even has extra toothbrushes and combs under the sink. The views are amazing, both upstairs and downstairs. If you like to walk, this area is gorgeous and quiet. The host was proactive and kind and sent us tons of helpful info and even offered an early check-in! The place has great energy and my favorite room was the downstairs bedroom— so cute.

What a fantastic find! As I was searching Airbnb for a place to stay for my 20 year high school reunion, I stumbled across this location and realized that this was my grandparents house that my dad sold years ago! My grandparents were the original owners and my dad was born and raised there, and this was the only house that my grandparents ever lived in. The majority of my childhood was spent in this house. So you could imagine how emotional and excited I was to be able to book this house and relive some of the amazing memories that I had. What was even better is that they did a wonderful job on the upgrades. My dad sold the house many years ago and there had been a few owners after that, so It definitely needed some work and boy did they not disappoint. I did love that they kept some original elements like the front door and some of the original cabinets before the bathroom. You can tell she has a real eye for design, and everything was extremely clean! Stay here if you can!

This place is awesome! We have stayed here twice, and it never disappoints. It is super charming and a short, easy hike to the Village. We did the hike with two twelve-year-old kiddos, and they loved the trek. Only about a 25-minute walk into the village. Access to the lake is easy and close. Heather provides great instructions and a wonderful welcome pamphlet with things to do. There is a super well-stocked market nearby that was only about a 2-minute drive. The place is impeccable with everything you need. My only recommendation would be an air fryer, otherwise, it really has everything. The beds are extremely comfy, and the decor is really cute. The TV has access to a lot of paid apps that were a great touch. She even had extra toothbrushes and brushes (all new and individually packaged) under the bathroom sink. The kids enjoyed swinging on the tree swing while the adults enjoyed snacks on the patio. So relaxing! Heater also worked great. Definitely recommend.

Heather was a great host. On our way there the power went out in the whole neighborhood and Heather was so kind enough to accommodate our stay and allowed us to check-in earlier than the time that was given that way we can get settled in before it gets dark. Luckily, The power went back on before we arrived and we had the best time. We loved every bit of that house and the scenery was beautiful. Heather was still very accommodating with our stay and responded very fast to whatever we needed help with. We definitely will be coming back here again! Thank you Heather !

My family of 4 and my mom spent Thanksgiving at the Little Bear Cabin. We had a wonderful time and were able to cook a delicious meal together in their newly updated kitchen. Heather even made sure that we had serving dishes and all the necessary cooking utensils we could possibly need! Plus the home was decorated for Thanksgiving, which was a very sweet touch! The cabin is close to trail marker 10 and we were able to take several walks along the lake (after we purchased wristbands from ALA as per Heather’s clear and easy instructions). My daughter loved the tree swing and my son was excited to play cornhole with everyone! The home is cozy and clean. The hosts have created a very warm and welcoming vacation home. Would return again!
